Know How To Play More Than 1 Video or Music File in VLC (Video Lan Client) at the Same Time?

How To Play more than 1 Video or Music file in VLC (Video Lan Client) at the same time?

VLC (Video Lan Client) media is one of the most used and famous open source video player. There are a whole lot of functions available in VLC Media player including playing more than one instances, display recorder and lot of other features. I’ve seen lots of People who installed different video players along with VLC , perhaps they need to play a couple of videos at the same time, VLC had that feature.

Today, I will explain how you can open/play a couple of videos/music at a time. Yes, you could play two Movies at a time in VLC or even three and/or a combination of music and video files.
Let's say, you may wish to watch a film and listen to a song at the same time in different  windows of VLC. However no person plays all at a time but this comes handy when you want to watch two films in parallel like tutorials, documentaries or Music files.

Lets get Started

STEP 1: Open VLC Media player from the Menu, Click on Tools>>>Preferences.

STEP 2: Now a New window named “simple Preferences” will appear.

STEP 3: Select “Interface" option on the Left panel.

STEP 4: On the right panel (scroll down if necessary) you will find the options “allow only one instance” and “use only one instance when started from file manager” under ‘PLAYLIST AND INSTANCE’ category.

STEP 5: "Allow only one instance" option will be checked by default (in older versions) and in newer versions ‘Use only one instance when started from file manager’ is checked by default. "UNCHECK" these both options.

STEP 6: Now "Save" and Restart VLC. Now you can play as many Songs videos Movies as you want.
